Marketing for Business Growth

As you can tell in my articles I am a proponent for having a plan. I believe that planning helps to increase your chances for successfully accomplishing anything. Having a plan helps you to critically think about the most effective and prudent task to complete that will move you in the direction you must go. Therefore, having a marketing plan, no matter the size of your business is necessary to achieving profitable growth. The goals identified in your marketing plan should describe very specific objectives y achieving the deisred a results of implementing your marketing plan. The marketing plan should connect with the goals of the entire company to create alignment and momentum. Your goals should be:

  1. Specific and measureable
  2. Motivating. Not just to you but all involved.
  3. Achievable. Sometimes the impossible really is impossible
  4. Relevant. Don't pursue objectives that are dated.
  5. Time bound. Give  it a timetable so that you can complete it and move on.

These are but a few basic recommendations that will help drive a successful marketing strategy and business growth.
