Link Building: Creating a "Selfie"

A "Selfie" Link is a opportunity you created yourself on your webpage to allow others to create links. Thousands of websites offer visitors the opportunity to create links through guest book signings, forum signatures, blog comments, or user profiles. They are low value links but links nonetheless. However, you must be careful. They may be links that you do not want to be associated with. Some are very spammy and should be avoided or removed immediately. That is not a good way to pick up good links. It's link finding a date in a bar or church. One is not a good way but either could be good or bad.
